I have 1000 dollars to throw into a sportsbook. I'll be making 25-100 dollar bets.

Should I join pinny or skybook.

Pinny has better lines.

Skybook has the free half point.

Which of these would help me more in a sportsbook? (I'm looking to only join one book for now.)

Where have you been playing previously?

I would choose Pinny as they have more options.

To add more information:

I am only betting on NFL and College Football.

I am looking for a bit of a statistical answer. Is it worth more to get a free half point on every ATS play or is it worth more to get -105 lines instead of -110?

I want to stick to only one book right now if possible.

Why would I have money in both books? How much value am I losing if I go with only pinnacle?

Go with Pinnacle.

A free half point isn't going to be worth it in the long run, better to lower the juice. Besides, the way Pinnacle is set up now, you can pretty much name your own line, if you're willing to pay a bit more juice to get what you want. You almost don't need another book, although I personally keep four active accounts during football, and they pretty much take care of all my needs. (Well, almost.)

Well, the free half point does come in pretty damn handy. I assume you'll be playing around $50 bets or so, so the limit on teh half point doesn't affect you.

I'd put $700 into Pinny and $300 into sky.

However, I can understand only wanting one book , so that you don't shortchange yourself on both bonuses. IN that case, take pinny. The dropdown menu to sell point is worth it to me.

That free half point at skybook will mean less during football because
they don't give you the free 1/2pt on -3 or -7's. So I would
definitely deposit the entire amount in Pinnacle..

Okay sounds good. Thanks!

Before I make the account though, does pinnacle give out a referal bonus or are they tied to any affiliates?
